Guests will have an opportunity to test their teamwork, creativity, dexterity and ingenuity in this once in a
lifetime grand event.
The group will be divided up into teams and have approximately two hours to design, build, decorate and be ready to launch their boat into the Pacific Ocean. The boat can be the team’s own original design or they may follow blueprints that are provided. The rules require that all boats be able to carry two or more people.
Boats will be scored in a variety of categories, such as:
At the end of the construction period, teams will be asked to assemble and be ready to carry their boat in a parade (procession) from the boatyard to the ocean. Boats will be launched in groups and judged accordingly…Bon Voyage!
