Lei Greeter “Aloha Kakou Malihinis A Me Kama‘ainas…This is your captain speaking. We are beginning our final approach into the Hawaiian Islands…”

At last, from 30,000 feet, the beautiful Hawaiian Islands come into view. Majestic mountains and lush valleys rise from the warm, turquoise waters of the Pacific, sparkling like jewels in the sun. Hawai‘i, a special reward for all of your hard work and dedication.

The big iron bird begins its final descent and you glide gracefully into the most beautiful islands in all the world…Hawai‘i. As you disembark, lovely hula maidens and handsome kane are anticipating your arrival, greeting you with a fond “Aloha” and lush tropical flower leis. You begin to stare in wonder at the spectacular scenery unfolding around you and become delightfully aware of the marvelous adventures in store in the days ahead…welcome to paradise !

Airport Welcome

Our uniformed staff will meet and greet all appropriate flights with professionally produced signs that read “Aloha (Group Name)”. As our guests identify themselves, they will be welcomed with a traditional fresh flower lei and directed to a holding area until all guests on the flight have been met. Guests will then be escorted to baggage claim, where they will identify their luggage prior to boarding exclusive transportation to their hotel.

Honolulu Airport Assistance
Crossfield

For guests arriving into Honolulu with a connecting flight to an outer island, we will arrange for the passengers to be met and escorted to the upper level of the arrival gate area, where they will board wiki wiki trams, transferring them from the main terminal to the Inter-island terminal.

Inter-island Check-in Procedures

On arrival at the Inter-island terminal, guests will be directed to a special check-in area designated for (Group Name), issued boarding passes and advised of their boarding gate and time. Our staff will also check with each guest to ensure that all luggage has been checked to the correct final destination. In the event of luggage being “short-checked” to Honolulu, the bags will be retrieved from the main terminal luggage claim area and checked through on the next available Inter-island flight.

VIP Crossfield

We recommend the following extra special treatment for VIP’s arriving into Honolulu and connecting to a Neighbor Island carrier.

  • Meet and Greet at gate area
  • Escorted to a waiting Limousine at the arrival gate
  • Transferred via Limousine to the Neighbor Island terminal
  • Escorted through security and placed in the lounge while our staff checks guests in at the ticket counter
  • Pre-boarding on flight with approval of the airline

Luggage

Once our guests have identified their luggage in baggage claim, they will be escorted to their waiting transportation with our airport porters handling their bags.

For group arrivals, we recommend that guests be escorted to the waiting transportation and driven immediately to the hotel. All luggage with tags identifying them as belonging to guests of (Group Name) will be retrieved from the claim area, loaded onto motor vehicles and delivered to the hotel.

In the event that a piece of luggage does not have the special identification tags, our staff will be able to claim the luggage using a guest name manifest and cross-checking all unclaimed and un-tagged luggage against this list.

Our airport staff will advise The Wright Company Travel Director(s) at the hotel on the airport departure time and total number of pieces. Our staff at the hotel will work closely with the bell desk, keeping them advised of the arriving luggage via separate equipment and assist as needed in expediting proper delivery to our guests’ rooms.

Ground Transfers

The finest available limousines, sedans, vans, mini buses, motorcoaches and/or taxis will be waiting for our guests for immediate transfer to their hotel. Our staff at the airport will assist guests with boarding the appropriate transportation, handle all luggage and advise on travel time to their hotel.

Hotel Arrival

Upon arrival at the hotel, our guests will again be met by The Wright Company staff and directed to the assigned hotel check-in area. All guests will be pre-registered, receive key packets and be directed to their rooms.

Hospitality

Hospitality Desk
We recommend that a hospitality desk and appropriate information boards for (Group Name) be located in a convenient area in the hotel.

Hospitality Staff
The Wright Company Travel Directors will maintain the hospitality desk daily for the convenience of our guests, assisting with:

  • Island, Hotel and General Information
  • Recreational and Optional Activities
  • Restaurant Recommendations and Reservations
  • Miscellaneous items and tasks that arise

Additionally, The Wright Company staff will provide the following essential services for all our participants to ensure the smooth operation of the conference.

  • Collect airline tickets, reconfirm guests’ flights home, making any necessary changes and revalidating tickets.
  • Prepare individual departure notices, communicate and coordinate with the hotel on baggage pick-up and guests’ departure times.
  • Prepare list for airport porters of guests flight information and final destination, allowing luggage tags to be pre-written, thus expediting the service at the airport.
  • Arrange and coordinate an agricultural inspection at the hotel if required.

Departure

The Wright Company Travel Directors will ensure that our guests and their luggage are on the appropriate transportation from the hotel to the airport. Our airport staff and airport porters will greet and assist our guests upon arrival at the airport. Guests will be assisted with obtaining appropriate baggage claim checks, agricultural inspection (if required) and airline check-in, prior to being escorted to their departure gate and bid a fond “Aloha.”
