Queen Emma Summer Palace

* Please contact TWC for our special group pricing.

Queen Emma Summer Palace Built in 1848, Hanaiakamalama, now known as Queen Emma Summer Palace, was used by Queen Emma and her family as a retreat from the rigors of court life in hot and dusty Honolulu in the mid-1800s. It was here in historic Nu'uanu Valley that the queen consort and her husband, King Kamehameha IV, and their young son, Prince Albert Edward, enjoyed some of their happiest times together.

Among the unique items of grandeur and craftsmanship, view the Entrance Hall, Parlor, Cloak Room, Center Hall and Edinburgh Room. Stroll through the spacious grounds and see the original gardens of native Hawaiian plants. This is a palace with much to explore.
